In France, even in the smallest village, the Bakery is the place where you can enjoy encounters, where you share between generations.
All our history reflects this value :
When the Vilgrain family created Grands Moulins de Paris to provide jobs to Parisians after World War I and helped in starting again the bakery business in France.
When they created the Ecole de Boulangerie et Pâtisserie de Paris to pass on know-how and passion to bakers to be, enabling them to bake good & nice products.
When we invented the first part-baked baguette to give to the world our lovely French baguette easily. When we opened our first stores to share with everybody our bakery products and more.

Cult of excellence

Our expectations are as high as our wish to become the leader of French bakery-cafés market.
YES, we are demanding.
We do not compromise on our product quality (high quality ingredients selection, baker
expertise), and we control everything from wheat to plate.
And we do not compromise the way we serve our guests, no matter how much time or efforts is required.

Our bakers and chefs get inspired from bakery tradition and from everything linked the French way of living : fashion, architecture & design, gastronomy … every source of inspiration helps us in innovating : play with local ingredients, shapes and colors, reinvent the tastes and sensations … simply express their talent
